The 2008 Pennsylvania Fair harness racing season kicked off at the Crawford County Fairgrounds in Meadville, PA with eleven sire stake events for 2YO trotters and pacers, featuring purses that were more than twice what they were in other recent years, thanks to an influx of money from the Commonwealth’s “racinos”.
